It is summertime at Armagh Robinson Library and No 5 Vicars\u2019 Hill. We would love to see more families with children of all ages in the Library and No 5 this summer.<\/p>\n
Let the little ones play with soft toys and card books, and the older boys and girls put their thinking caps on for a treasure or scavenger hunt in the Library, or a quiz and jigsaw puzzles in No 5. The adults can take their time to take in the atmosphere and to look at the exhibits.<\/p>\n
This summertime at Armagh Robinson Library and No 5, during July and August, the Library has extended its opening hours to Saturday afternoons from 2-4pm, in addition to its normal opening hours on weekdays from 10am-1pm and 2-4pm. No 5 will be open Tuesday to Saturday: 10am – 1pm & 2-4pm.<\/p>\n
Both the Library and No 5 now offer baby changing facilities. There are also low stepping stools available for little ones to use. We were able to install these child-friendly facilities, as well as buy the toys and books, with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund through the Northern Ireland Museums Council\u2019s Playful Museums Project.<\/p>\n
