It considers &#8216;Revolutionary Ulster, c.1770-1800&#8217;, covering the Volunteer Movement, the Society of United Irishmen, the formation of the Orange Order, the 1798 Rising and the Act of Union. The speaker, Dr Andrew Holmes, is a lecturer at Queen&#8217;s University Belfast. The lecture was organised by Armagh Robinson Library, working in collaboration with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council and part-financed by the NI Executive Office.
